The Spiritual World Exists
The spiritual world is one of the most unrecognized and ignored aspects of reality—especially in the Western world. The adversary has chosen to desensitize Western society to the truth of the spiritual realm through the entertainment industry, media, and a proliferation of a negative view of those who recognize spirituality. The increase of technology and scientific advancement has also encouraged many to view spirituality as fantasy mankind concocted to describe the unknown in an archaic time period. The idea being that those in biblical times were less advanced and too primitive to understand the reality of illness and disease only categorizing it as spiritual due to their meager understanding.
Besides the fact that our ministry continues to deal with spiritual warfare first hand, we strive to root our perspective not only on personal experience, but through the lens of the perfect and Holy Word of our Creator. Scripture undoubtedly illustrates a spiritual aspect to our existence; one that recognizes many illnesses, suffering, disease, and death as a consequence of personal sin, generational sin, curses, and demonic influence. It is our hope that one not only utilize a scientific perspective of these hardships, but more importantly learn and understand what scripture teaches on this vital subject.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Our Messiah leads this front!
There should be no surprise the importance of recognizing the spiritual realm and coming against the spiritual wickedness when we look at the feet of our Messiah Yeshua. Our lead-by-example Messiah cast demons out of believers everywhere he went and instructed his disciples to do likewise!
And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. He charged them to take nothing for their journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belts— but to wear sandals and not put on two tunics. And he said to them, “Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you depart from there. And if any place will not receive you and they will not listen to you, when you leave, shake off the dust that is on your feet as a testimony against them.” So they went out and proclaimed that people should repent. And they cast out many demons and anointed with oil many who were sick and healed them.
The entirety of scripture is clear: there is a spiritual world, and the children of YHVH have been given authority over unclean spirits. Are you wielding your Messiah-given authority?
Over the course of time, our ministry will strive to shed light on this important yet overlooked topic. We encourage you to turn to our Heavenly Father in prayer and ask him to guide you in the truth of this important facet of faith.
Put on the Whole Armor of God
Belt of Truth
Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth,
Breastplate of Righteousness
and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Shoes of Readiness Given by the Gospel of Peace
and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Shield of Faith
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Helmet of Salvation
and take the helmet of salvation,
Sword of the Spirit
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints...
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm...
